With food safety and security of utmost importance, we’re proactive in reducing waste, decreasing and offsetting energy use, training and engaging associates, and ensuring proper oversight. We are dedicated to serving as a value-added cold chain partner, prioritizing safety, reliability, and minimizing our environmental impact.

Our Community Partnerships
We help our customers feed the world – and do the same for our communities. In countries around the globe, we partner with charitable organizations dedicated to the mission of fighting hunger and supporting the development of children and teens. Our partnership with Feed the Children, a leading nonprofit focused on alleviating childhood hunger, reflects our commitment to making a meaningful difference where we live and work.

Our Sustainability Investments
Through ongoing investments in energy efficiency and renewable energy initiatives, our network now includes more than 200 facilities with LED lighting and 34 active solar projects. These efforts help drive our goal to generate 150,000 MWh of renewable energy annually across our global portfolio by 2030. Because doing better is good for business and the planet.

Better technology means better outcomes for our customers and our planet. At Americold, we deploy innovative technologies and energy management best practices in our facilities around the globe to drive sustainability from the ground up. Through real-time monitoring, energy efficient building designs, low GWP refrigerants, and more, we lower emissions and reduce our global carbon footprint.
