The Americold Savannah II cold storage warehouse is the newest facility in our 3-facility Savannah, GA campus.  With a focus on protein exports, the Savannah II site has individual pallet freezing capabilities so proteins can adhere to regulatory requirements, be staged for export, loaded into ocean containers, and drayed to the port, or be stored onsite, consolidated with other products, and loaded for export as desired. The facility has multiple-temperature capabilities, and features adjustable storage bays – up to 100 inches – for customizable space.

The facility also supports import handling.  It’s location is ideal, less than 20 miles from the Port of Savannah and adjacent to the U.S. Interstate 95 corridor, a direct express route for distribution throughout the United States. 

The Port of Savannah’s stellar reputation for container handling means imported products can be cleared, inspected, and made available for US distribution quickly and efficiently.
