Americold is transforming the global cold chain as we grow our footprint. We’re expanding existing facilities to meet growing demand from our customers in key regions. We’re collaborating with other best-in-class supply chain companies to deliver innovative and efficient cold chain solutions through our growing network of Import-Export Hubs. And, we’re growing our automation footprint to bring innovative, automated solutions to all nodes of the supply chain.

Kansas City, Missouri, USA
Americold’s newest Import-Export Hub, the Kansas City facility opened in August 2025. Developed in partnership with Canadian Pacific Kansas City, the 335,000-square-foot facility is Americold’s first on the CPKC rail network and a key hub for the Mexico Midwest Express (MMX), North America’s only single-line rail service for refrigerated goods between the U.S. and Mexico.

Dallas/Fort Worth Automated Expansion
Americold’s expansion in the Dallas/Fort Worth area will feature our best-in-class automation capabilities in this fast-growing market.

Allentown, Pennsylvania, USA Expansion
Americold’s expansion of the Allentown, PA facility is a prime example of how we are always growing and evolving to help our customers feed the world. This expansion supports customers in the heavily populated northeastern United States, serving as a forward deployment node for the New York-New Jersey CSA.

Dubai, UAE
Americold’s first operational site in the Middle East, the Dubai facility was developed through a joint venture with RSA Cold Chain and in strategic partnership with DP World. This state-of-the-art facility is a major step in optimizing food flows across the region.

Halwyn New Facility, Christchurch, New Zealand
Americold’s newest Retail Hub in New Zealand, the Halwyn, Christchurch new facility is scheduled to open in early 2026.
Developed to support the requirements of the growing Retail and Food market in New Zealand, this Retail Hub will be key to the operations in South Island, almost tripling Americold’s temperature-controlled storage capacity in the South Island of New Zealand.

Prospect New Facility, Sydney, Australia
Australia’s latest expansion in Western Sydney, with a brand-new Retail Hub expected to open in early 2026.
This Retail Hub will feature freezer and chiller capabilities, designed to support the requirements of the growing Retail and Quick Service Restaurant market in Australia. The expansion at Prospect, Sydney, adds 25% additional capacity to the current facility, and is situated in close proximity to arterial motorways linking the facility to distribution destinations as well as the airport and seaports.
